Sept 10th Dereks Birthday
We wanted to do something for Derek to remember him his special day
In 07 for his Eagle project he put this basketball court in for the kids at Sandstone Elementary
The net had been missing since last year so we replaced it!
Then we played a little hoop in his honor!

Elder Brazeau Baptizes Mr. Deng!
This is a 71 year old man named Deng Xian Sheng. Derek translated his name and it means Mr. Deng! :) He was baptised December 12th 2009. This was Dereks first baptism in the field. The water was not heated and Derek wasn't sure if Mr Deng would be able enter the water with his ailing health. He did great and Derek was very humbled by the experience!
